The CRM is located in the UAB Faculty of Science, with a total floor space of 2.125 m2 including administration and direction offices, office space for up to 60 researchers, three meeting rooms, three lecture rooms with capacity for 40 people and an auditorium with capacity for 100 people. All lecture and meeting rooms are equipped with overhead projectors and streaming facilities.
Accommodation for CRM visitors is provided by Vila Universitària at Bellaterra. The CRM computer equipment is based on a LAN Ethernet net of, approximately, eighty workstations structured under a Windows/Linux domain. Among other services, the net includes an e-mail server, a printer server (managing the tasks of five printers), a file server and a Firewall/Router that linked it to the UAB infrastructure by means of a 1 Gb connection. Wi-Fi connection is available in all rooms.
There is an experimental lab in Microfluidics and Rheology. To inquire about availability of some of the CRM facilities, please contact crm@crm.cat.
Meeting Rooms
& Audio Visual Support
The CRM offers a variety of rooms with adequate capacities and common spaces, prepared to host several scientific events such as congresses, seminars and courses. Our facilities are modern and well-equipped, and they encourage scientific discussions with the aim of enhancing collaboration between researchers from all backgrounds and areas of mathematics.
Most of the activities organised and hosted at the CRM take place at the Auditorium, but there are also smaller rooms available for seminars and informal meetings, all of them equipped with standard facilities (follow the links below for a more detailed look at each of them):

AUDITORIUM
The CRM’s Auditorium is a space appropriate for research programmes and all kinds of scientific events, including advanced courses and conferences. The auditorium is the ideal framework for activities related to communication, debates and congresses.
There are two double chalk boards, one of them is semi-obscured by the main computer projection screen when it is in use. The projection system is connected to the computer available at the auditorium, but laptop computers can be connected as well via a standard VGA or HDMI connectors. Macintosh users are reminded to bring their own VGA display adaptor.
The CRM computer supports Adobe PDF and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

ROOM A1
The lecture room A1 is prepared to hold courses, workshops and seminars, and can work as a complementary working space for research programmes and large congresses. It is equipped with all the necessary technical equipment.

SEMINAR ROOM
The Seminar room is suitable to hold small meetings and seminars, and it is equipped with all the necessary technical equipment.

MULTIPURPOSE ROOMS
The CRM offers two small multipurpose rooms that are prepared to hold small meetings and working groups, and it is equipped with all the necessary technical equipment.
Both have one double chalk board and a computer projection screen. In the Multipurpose room 2, the projection system is connected to the computer available at the room, but laptop computers can be connected as well via a standard VGA connector. In the Multipurpose room 1, the projection system can only be used by connecting a laptop (there is no desktop computer). Macintosh users are reminded to bring their own VGA display adaptor.

MEETING ROOM
The CRM has a meeting room available for the researchers carrying out research stays at the centre. It is equipped for small formal meetings, with a projection system that can be connected to a laptop computer via a standard VGA connector. Macintosh users are reminded to bring their own VGA display adaptor.
The auditorium is equipped with streaming and video recording services to enhance the dissemination of the activities carried out at the centre. These services are available to the organisers of activities if needed.
The CRM also offers video conferencing services to improve communication with researchers and experts that are not present at the centre.
